  • Dehumanization: to make a group or individual less human by taking away individuality, the creative and interesting aspects of personality, or compassion and sensitivity towards others.
  • Non-Z /nɒn'zi/:
    An individual who does not only eat zabiha halal meat. This person still refrains from eating pork.
  • Re-humanization: the process of undoing dehumanization of a population. Showing the world that world the humanity of dehumanized groups or individuals.
  • Revert /riˈvɜrt/:
    An individual who has converted to Islam. Based on the belief that all beings are born Muslim, and a convert to Islam has simply reverted to his or her original state.
  • Ummah /ʊm'mɑ/:
    Word meaning "community" in Arabic
  • Z /zi/:
    An individual who eats only zabiha halal meat that is slaughtered according to religious specifications.
  • Zabiha Halal Meat /zəbi'hɒ həlɑl' mit/: Meat, not including pork, that is slaughtered according to Islamic specifications. Available in many places in the United States.
